Q?Crew Captain Talk – 'Bridging Boundaries'
Q?Crew Captain McKenna tells how, as a high school senior, she felt pressure to plan out her life and make choices -- such as whether to study science, or drama, or engineering. During her Q?rius internship, she learned the world is not divided into departments like it is in school, and that it is possible to bridge the boundaries.
Q?Crew teen volunteers are the passionate and enthusiastic face of the museum, greeting and orienting visitors from around the world to Q?rius, the Coralyn W. Whitney Science Education Center at the National Museum of Natural History.
As part of the 2017 Q?Crew program, the volunteers created these TED-style talks to share their stories.
