In the Collins Lab, we investigate various aspects of the biodiversity and evolution of relatively simple animals – medusozoan cnidarians (jellyfishes, hydroids, etc.), sponges, comb jellies, and placozoans. We document the morphology and genetics of these groups, seeking to understand the ecology, life history and distribution of their species.
