Over 450 individuals make up the science community of the National Museum of Natural History. These include staff scientists, resident research associates, pre- and post-doctoral fellows, long-term visiting researchers from other institutions, scientists employed by affiliated agencies, and non-resident research associates and collaborators.
We also mentor students through science-based internships and work with volunteers who contribute their time and talents toward our scientific endeavors.
